INTRODUCTION OF AN ENDOTRACHEAL TUBE
This figure shows the introduction of an endotracheal tube. Intubation is usually performed with an instrument called "laryngoscope". The introduction is done when the patient is in a condition of unconsciousness and depressed reflexes.
