CANNULATION OF A PERIPHERAL VEIN
In this picture you can see the cannulation of a peripheral vein of the forearm before the induction of anesthesia. This procedure is not painful and lasts less than 1 minute. This venous cannula allows the anesthesiologist to administer medications for anesthesia, and fluids.
